Team building in the forest

Our team is our strength and we want to invest in our team. The READ for Life team put our chalk, markers and tape down to visit The Recreation Project in Gulu. Yesterday our focused shifted from teacher training to working on our own team building, communication and problem solving skills, and to overcome some of our fears (possibly ones we never even knew we had!).

We had a great time in the forest climbing walls, flying through the air, solving problems, playing team games and certainly a challenging time working on some of the activities (no engineers in our group!).

Thanks to The Recreation Project for a challenging and strengthening day out.

A super impressive shout out to Phonics Trainer Atim Caroline who never gave up on the climbing wall and made it to the top the second time around; and also defeated the zip line!
